Terms & Conditions
These terms cover use of dovix.ca, QuickBook service requests and bookings, and other Dovix services accessible from the website.
1. Scope
Dovix Corporation operates dovix.ca. The website provides information about Dovix services and allows customers to contact Dovix and submit service requests or bookings directly online through QuickBook.
Some functions may also be available through the Dovix mobile app or separate Dovix sites, including marketplace.dovix.ca. Additional terms may apply to those separate services.
2. QuickBook bookings
- QuickBook may display fixed-price missions or hourly pricing, applicable taxes and available appointment times.
- Customers must provide accurate project, address and work-condition information.
- Dovix may contact the customer to clarify scope, duration, crew, access, safety requirements or availability.
- Dovix may decline, reschedule or modify a request when work falls outside the offered scope, requires an unmet licence or condition, presents a safety issue or cannot reasonably be scheduled.
3. Employees and independent service providers
Dovix may provide services through its employees and, where applicable, separately contracted independent service providers. A worker’s relationship with Dovix is governed by that worker’s separate employment or contractor arrangement and is not created or changed by these customer website terms.
The public independent-provider application path is separate from any salaried or hourly employee hiring process.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are added according to the information shown at booking or invoicing.
Confirming a QuickBook booking does not, by itself, authorize an automatic card charge. The payment method and timing are those expressly presented or communicated by Dovix for the relevant service.
5. Customer responsibilities
- Be authorized to request work at the stated service address.
- Provide reasonable access and a safe work environment.
- Describe the work accurately and disclose conditions that may affect safety, duration or materials.
- Do not request illegal work or regulated work where required conditions are not satisfied.
6. Cancellation, rescheduling and availability
Applicable cancellation or rescheduling rules are those shown in the booking flow, confirmation or Dovix communications. Availability can change as bookings and operating constraints change.
7. Marketplace and separate services
marketplace.dovix.ca is a separate e-commerce platform. Purchases, sales, delivery, returns and Marketplace accounts may be subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Privacy
Information submitted to Dovix is handled according to the Privacy Policy published on dovix.ca.
9. Site content and availability
Dovix content, trademarks, text and visual materials are protected by applicable rights. Dovix may correct content, evolve services and temporarily interrupt features for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
10. Applicable law and contact
The website is operated from Quebec, Canada. Applicable Quebec and Canadian law applies according to the circumstances. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@dovix.ca.
